Getting Here

The church has two parking lots: one on the same side of the road, which is paved; and one across the street, which is gravel. Please park in whichever one best fits your needs. If you have mobility struggles, street parking is allowed in front of the church on Unionville Ave.

There are several doors to enter the church. There is a side door that allows worshipers to enter the sanctuary without stairs. Follow the long path (on the right of the church) from the main sidewalk to the side door towards the front of the sanctuary.

The single door, closest to the parking lot on the front of the building, leads directly into the sanctuary. The set of double doors is the main set of doors into the church and leads into the Narthex (the fancy church word for front lobby). Both of these door require climbing stairs for entry.

All three sets of doors are unlocked for worship on Sunday mornings.

Service Information

The services are traditional PC(USA) services. This means, there is a call to worship, a prayer of confession and assurance of pardon, hymns, special music (often choral), Scripture readings, sermon, and prayers of the people. Communion is once a month, generally the first Sunday of the month.

From September through June, church begins at 10:30 AM. In July and August, church begins at 9:30 AM. Fellowship time follows the church service throughout the year.

Since 2020, the church service has been accessible from the sanctuary, as well as on Zoom. The Zoom livestreaming option continues to enhance the church community in deeper ways, especially for those who would be unable to attend services otherwise.

Children In Worship

Children of all ages are welcome to join the congregation in worship. There is a special Children’s Time especially for them, often led by Pastor Katherine.

Younger children are invited to head downstairs into the nursery space to play. Nursery care is guaranteed while Sunday School in session (September through June). It can also be provided in July and August, if the church office knows to expect a family who’d prefer a separate space for their children during worship.
