Sunday School

The children of the church meet for Sunday School at 9:30 AM from September to June. Our goal is to "Weave Faith Into Life" for all ages, starting at pre-school through adults. We encourage families to discuss Bible lessons together and transform what they have learned into daily life.

Choirs

The Church Choir sings each week. The Children's Choir sings occasionally.  The Handbell Choir plays in worship and special events occasionally, too.

Youth & Family Fellowship

We have a varied program, including overnights, service projects, and mission trips for students in middle & high schools, as well as, activities for families.

Confirmation

Students in 7th through 9th grades learn what it means to be a Presbyterian Christian, and prepare to join the church at completion of the program. This program is held on an as-needed basis. If you have a child in this age range who would like to be confirmed, please reach out to Pastor Katherine. If you don’t have her contact information, feel free to use the message function at the bottom of the page OR email: sussexpres@gmail.com

Afternoon Women's Group

This group provides numerous opportunities for fellowship, as well as sponsoring special project drives, such as yard sales, bake sales, and homemade soup sales.

Ministry Groups

Our groups include Hospitality, Finance, Buildings & Grounds, Christian Growth, Mission & Stewardship,  Personnel, and Worship & Sacraments. These groups are led by a member of Session and all members and friends of the congregation are welcome to join a group they would enjoy being part of.
