Sussex Help Center: Thank you for generously contributing to the Sussex Help Center food panty. Your continuous help is needed: cake mixes, brownie mixes, soup, crackers, mayonnaise, tuna, jell-o & puddings, fruit juices (any size), peanut butter, jelly (small jars), tea bags, powdered milk, sugar-free foods, pasta and sauce, rice, and canned fruit, meat, & vegetables. A Free Caregiver Expo for those caring for elderly loved ones will be held on Wednesday, September 15th, 3-6 P.M., at The Adam Todd, 263 Hwy. 206, Andover. Sussex Christian School is holding its 32nd Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 18th, at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta. Space is still available for craft and antique vendors. Old Clove Church: The Annual Worship Service at the Old Clove Church will be held on Sunday, September 19th, at 2:00 P.M. The Rev. Alfred Jaeger from the Wantage Methodist Church will lead the worship service. Music will be provided by the High Point Harmonizers Chorus. Refreshments will be served. The Sussex County State Health Insurance Assistance Pro-gram (S.H.I.P.) is looking for volunteers to learn the complexities of the Medicare program and related insurance plans so they can help those on Medicare get accurate health care information. The Morris/Sussex Div. of Family Support Organizations host regularly-scheduled support groups for parents and caregivers who are raising children with behavioral and mental health challenges. Groups for grandparents are also available. All groups are free and open to the public. Call 973-940-3194 for a schedule of meetings. Compassionate Care is having a “Dine to Donate” event at the County Seat Restaurant in Newton Sept. 6th-12th. A 10% donation for every guest check will go to their foundation, which provides much needed financial help to less fortunate patients in the community.
